Our Services

Structured advisory across governance, strategy and institutional systems.

We work alongside our clients at every stage of the engagement, providing continuous support from initial assessment through to implementation.

Practice Areas

Five areas. Defined deliverables.

01
Governance & Institutional Structuring

Strengthening governance systems, accountability frameworks and institutional effectiveness. We address the structural conditions under which institutions operate — how authority is distributed, how accountability is maintained, and how governance arrangements support or constrain effective action.

What we deliver

Governance diagnostic reports
Operating model design
Decision rights mapping
Board structure recommendations
Institutional policy frameworks

When this applies

Where authority is unclear, accountability is diffused, or governance structures no longer match the institutional mandate — particularly during periods of transition or organisational stress.

02
Strategy & Advisory

Supporting leadership through complex decisions, reform processes and organisational change. Our approach separates analytical reasoning from institutional positioning, ensuring decisions rest on documented evidence rather than assumption.

What we deliver

Strategic assessment notes
Scenario planning documents
Decision briefs
Trade-off analysis
Implementation roadmaps

When this applies

Where strategic direction must be defined or tested under conditions of uncertainty, constraint or competing institutional interests.

03
Institutional Development

Designing organisations, operating models, internal systems and digital governance solutions. This includes the creation and early-stage structuring of new institutions as well as the operational restructuring of existing ones.

What we deliver

Organisational design blueprints
Business model evaluation
Systems integration plans
Operational handbooks
Digital sovereignty frameworks

When this applies

Where an institution is being established, restructured or requires alignment between its organisational design and operating reality — including reduction of dependency on external platforms.

04
Strategic Research & Analysis

Providing policy research, governance assessments, risk analysis and evidence-based recommendations. Analysis always precedes conclusions; recommendations are grounded in documented evidence and transparent reasoning.

What we deliver

Strategic research reports
Policy and regulatory analysis
Stakeholder mapping
Benchmarking and comparative studies
Risk and feasibility assessments

When this applies

Where a decision requires an independent evidence base, or where institutional understanding of a policy, regulatory or political environment is incomplete.

05
Strategic Implementation

Supporting implementation through expert field research and operational coordination. We bridge the distance between recommendation and result, ensuring strategic intent is translated into actionable outcomes.

What we deliver

Field study evaluations
Expert deployment plans
Implementation monitoring frameworks
Operational coordination support

When this applies

Where recommendations require field validation, specialised expertise or structured coordination to be implemented effectively.

Strategic Research & Analysis and Strategic Implementation are engaged on a selective, mandate-specific basis to ensure alignment with high-level strategic objectives.

Engagement Process

Four stages. Formally documented throughout.

01 · Assessment
Initial Assessment

Confidential, non-binding discussion to understand the organisation’s needs, objectives and operational context, and to assess alignment.

02 · Definition
Mandate Definition

A written agreement defining objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline and role boundaries before any advisory work begins.

03 · Advisory
Strategic Advisory

Structured analysis, recommendations and implementation support delivered through defined milestones and written outputs.

04 · Review
Review & Follow-up

Formal conclusion where deliverables are assessed against original objectives, with monitoring and adaptation where necessary.

Our Approach

Principles that shape every engagement.

Independence
We maintain professional independence throughout every assignment, ensuring recommendations remain objective, evidence-based and aligned with client objectives. Where independence cannot be maintained, we decline the engagement.
Analytical Rigour
Our work is built on structured analysis, documented evidence and clear reasoning. We prioritise accuracy, relevance and practical applicability. We do not provide conclusions we cannot substantiate.
Collaboration
We work alongside our clients throughout the engagement cycle — from initial assessment and strategy development to implementation support. Our role is not only to advise, but to provide continued support in translating recommendations into effective action.
Confidentiality
We apply strict standards of discretion when handling institutional information, sensitive mandates and strategic decision-making processes. Client identities and mandate details are never disclosed without explicit written authorisation.
Advisory Boundary

Consultiva Strategies does not assume decision-making authority on behalf of institutions. Our role is to strengthen decision clarity, structure and accountability. Decision authority and ultimate responsibility remain with the client.

Mandate Discipline

No advice outside a written mandate.

Every engagement begins with a formal, written definition of scope, objectives, deliverables and role boundaries. We do not provide informal or ad-hoc advice outside a defined mandate. Where mandates evolve, scope adjustments are formally documented and agreed before further work is undertaken.

What We Do Not Do
No lobbying, fundraising or political campaigning
No advocacy on behalf of clients or third parties
No informal or ad-hoc advice outside a formal written mandate
No generic solutions — all work is mandate-specific
No disclosure of client identities or mandate details without explicit written authorisation
No assumption of legal liability for clients’ core operations

Consultiva Strategies does not accept every mandate. Each engagement is assessed against defined criteria of independence, institutional alignment, expertise and capacity. Where a mandate is not accepted, the firm does not provide reasons.
